A French woman conquers the city

Also on the founder of Bond. No 9, Laurice Rahmé , the city has an enormous appeal. The entrepreneur was born and grew up in Paris. After graduating from the Université de Vincennes, she studied art history at the École du Louvre in Paris and eventually opened her own antique shop in Paris.

Her career in the cosmetics industry began in the 1970s when L'Oréal recruited her to support the Middle East business of its subsidiary brand Lancôme . At the end of the decade, she was finally appointed to New York to establish Lancôme in the US market.

These experiences bring her into contact with the perfumer Annick Goutal . At this time, her label is only a small boutique in Paris, but with Rahmé as head of the US business, the niche brand can not only gain a foothold worldwide, but also celebrate success. The time with Annick Goutal and the collaboration with the perfume icon were formative for Rahmé, who from now on can no longer get away from the world of fragrances, even if it will be a while until the first Bond No. 9 perfume is available.
